Find me on:

At the 2017 IPDS Tech Summit we will be holding our second Silent Auction to benefit the family of a former IPDS employee and friend.

Allen Thomas was a member of our Delivery Team at IPDS, and lost his battle with esophageal cancer on Friday April 22nd, 2016.

When Allen passed away, his friends and family made an announcement, “In lieu of flowers, the Allen Thomas Memorial Fund is established as a college fund for Miranda and Katherine.” IPDS began collecting donations for this fund, and held our first Silent Auction at the 2016 Tech Summit to benefit the fund.

The IPDS team strives to consistently contribute further to this fund, and we hope that you will also help honor Allen, his family, and his life.

A huge “thanks” to Robbie’s First Base for providing us with the sports memorabilia featured in the 2016 Tech Summit Silent Auction. We raised a grand total of $1210 because of the generosity of our attendees! All proceeds go directly to Allen’s wife and daughters. We look forward to working with Robbie's First Base again in August.

I have received inquiries from some who cannot attend the Tech Summit but still wish to make donations to this fund. If you would like to make a donation to the Allen Thomas Memorial Fund, please make a check out to Kelly Thomas, and send to:

Now for this week's Virtual Treasure Hunt challenge. To go along with the theme of this post, here are this week’s 2 riddles, both leading to the same answer.

What is so delicate that even saying its name will break it? OR, Say my name and I disappear.

Be sure to keep track of all your riddle answers so you can spell out the name of the prize at the end!

Missed the first riddle? You can play catch up and find it here.

Missed the second one too? You’re really slacking… but here it is.

The IPDS Tech Summit is FREE to qualified registrants.

We will be having a silent auction at the IPDS Tech Summit in memory of Allen Thomas, a former IPDS employee who lost his battle with esophageal cancer on April 22nd, 2016.
